Course content

This course is tailored for you who love to ski and want to learn the art of finding the best snow in a safe and efficient way. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience with summit tours, this course is designed for you. Get valuable tips on equipment, trip planning, and most importantly, how to safely navigate up and down the winter mountains.

Our road courses also include training in avalanche theory.

The aim of the course is to increase your competence on ski trips in the mountains and give you a solid understanding of equipment, techniques and safety around ski trips in alpine terrain. We focus particularly on terrain and you will learn to identify avalanche-prone terrain and use the avalanche warning to find a safer and good ski route. The course covers driving patterns and provides thorough training in camera rescue and the use of transmitter/receiver equipment. The course is practically oriented, and we spend most of the time outdoors, on trips.

We emphasize a participatory and engaging course. Even though we are out and about every day, we take the time to thoroughly review the various subjects.
